Privacy policy

Steady & Simple is published by Selena Hann. This policy explains what happens to information when you use this website. The short version: we do not sell anything, we do not have accounts, and we collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It records things like page views, approximate location (country or city level), device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals.
• Contact form. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you send, so we can reply. Messages reach us by email and are not stored in a database on this site.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, including IP address, for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect

• We have no user accounts, so there are no passwords or profiles.
• We do not take payments, so we never see card details.
• We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.
• We do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels on this site.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and the site will work normally without them. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Affiliate links

Product links on this site pass through our own redirect and on to Amazon with a tracking tag attached. Amazon then uses its own cookies to credit a purchase to us. What Amazon does with that information is governed by Amazon’s privacy notice, not ours. We never see who bought what — only totals.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can block cookies, use a browser that blocks analytics, or ask us to delete any message you have sent us. Write to contact@steadyandsimple.com and we will act on it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold. Since the only personal information we hold is the content of messages people send us, those requests are simple and we will handle them promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described on the page rather than slipped in.
